Payment Method
Uodao currently accepts payment via PayPal. This page explains how checkout works, what to expect after placing an order, and how to get help if something goes wrong.
1. How We Accept Payment
All orders are processed through PayPal, the only payment method accepted on Uodao.com. The PayPal checkout button appears on the cart and checkout pages.
PayPal Payment Options
PayPal supports multiple ways to pay:
- PayPal balance — pay directly from your account
- Credit card — Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover linked to PayPal
- Debit card — linked to PayPal
- PayPal Pay Later — available to eligible U.S. customers; terms determined by PayPal
You do not need a PayPal account to complete your purchase. Guest checkout allows payment with a credit or debit card.
2. Payment Security
All payments are processed through PayPal's secure infrastructure:
- Transactions are encrypted with SSL technology
- PayPal is PCI DSS compliant
- Payment information is entered directly on PayPal’s platform; Uodao does not see or store your card details

3. Purchase Information
Order Confirmation
Once payment is successful, you will receive an order confirmation email with your order number and purchase summary. Keep this email for future reference.
Payment Timing
Payment is collected at checkout, not at shipment. Orders canceled before shipping will receive a full refund.
Order Processing
Orders are processed 1–3 business days after payment confirmation. You will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number once your order ships.
Currency
All prices on Uodao.com are in USD. PayPal will handle currency conversion if needed.
Shipping Fees
- Free shipping: Orders $50+ to contiguous 48 U.S. states
- Flat shipping fee: $8 for orders under $50
No additional handling or processing fees apply.
Receipts
PayPal sends a payment receipt to your account email. Uodao also sends an order confirmation to your provided email. Contact support@uodao.com for copies if needed.
4. If Your Payment Fails
Common issues include:
- Insufficient PayPal balance or declined card — verify your account and billing info
- Card issuer declined — contact your bank to authorize the transaction
- PayPal account issues — log in to resolve holds or verification requests
- Browser/session issues — clear cache or retry checkout

5. Refunds
Refunds are issued to the original payment method:
- PayPal balance: 3–5 business days
- Credit/debit card linked to PayPal: 3–7 business days
If you do not see your refund after 8 business days, check your bank or PayPal account, then contact support@uodao.com.

Not directly. Some cards linked to PayPal may allow these options via PayPal checkout.

Can I split payment between methods?
PayPal may allow splitting between your balance and a linked card, managed entirely by PayPal.
Will I be charged sales tax?
